Robert Sharpe Promoted to Assistant Vice President, Commercial Loan Portfolio Manager

Robert “Bob” Sharpe has been promoted to Assistant Vice President, Commercial Loan Portfolio Manager at Merrimack County Savings Bank (the Merrimack). In this role, Bob will help to manage commercial credit risk from the Bank’s Nashua office at 101 Broad Street.

“Bob’s wealth of knowledge and experience in commercial lending, community banking and risk management have made him a valuable asset to the team as a Senior Credit Analyst,” said Terrie McQuillen, Senior Vice President, Credit and Administration. “His diverse background will give him a unique perspective as he assists our clients. We are excited to have Bob help grow our commercial lending department in his new position.”

Bob earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell.

Prior to joining the Merrimack as a Senior Credit Analyst in 2020, he worked as Risk Management Consultant with Darling Consulting Group.  Prior to that he was a Bank Examiner with the Massachusetts Division of Banks.

Bob resides in Windham with his wife, Jess, and their two children, Julia and Bobby. He enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, going on family vacations, working in the garden, servicing automobiles and playing soccer. He also volunteers his time in his children’s youth sports programs.
