Community Banking: Strong, Safe & Secure

Over the weekend, news broke that Silicon Valley Bank in California, with branches in Massachusetts, and Signature Bank in New York were unexpectedly shutdown by the FDIC. Fortunately, depositors at those financial institutions will have full access to their funds, even uninsured deposits.

We want to reassure our customers that Merrimack County Savings Bank remains well-capitalized and well-positioned to continue to serve our customers and communities. As a community bank with a legacy of serving customers for more than 155 years, we will be here to provide stability and consistency for you, your business and your family.

Our deposits are federally insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), an independent agency of the U.S. government that protects bank depositors. To learn more about FDIC coverage, click here.

We understand that you may have questions about the safety of your deposits and our dedicated team is here to assist you and provide guidance as needed. Please directly contact us at 603.225.2793 or stop any of our branch locations to speak with us in-person.
