We are proud to announce NHMB  affiliate banks have been recognized as having the top loan originators in New Hampshire for 2022 by the Warren Group, publisher of the Registry Review.

The Registry Review has compiled the list of the top loan originators of 2022. The originators are ranked by number of loans and loan volume statewide, and by the institution with which they are most closely affiliated (credit unions, banks and mortgage companies).  Below is the list of Savings Bank of Walpole, MVSB and The Merrimack mortgage originators who ranked in the top 10 by state and/or the top 5 by region.

“The NHMB loan originators have together made significant contributions to their local communities in a difficult market with strong property demand and increased regulatory burden. These results show how diligent and hard they worked to promote homeownership”, according to Mark Danahy, Senior Vice President and Residential Lending Officer for NHMB. “Congratulations to them all on their well-earned successes!”

All loan totals in these rankings are for loans closed between Jan. 1 and Dec. 31, 2022 for all mortgage originators at banks in NH. Totals include purchase loans for single-family and condominiums, and refinances for all residential property types (single-family, condominium, two- and three-families). The lenders listed here are the ones for which the originator made the majority of their loans within the year’s timeframe.
