The Merrimack Supports Our Heroes at the 22nd Annual Rock‘N Race

Merrimack County Savings Bank (The Merrimack) is proud to rise to the challenge once again as presenting sponsor of the 22nd Annual Rock‘N Race to benefit Concord Hospital’s Payson Center for Cancer Care. This year, the iconic road race honors the heroes in our lives that have been affected by cancer.

“This is a cause that’s close to our hearts at The Merrimack, one that speaks to many of us,” said Linda Lorden, President of The Merrimack. “We’re grateful for our continued partnership with Concord Hospital Trust and the opportunity to support critical programs for cancer patients and caregivers.”

The 22<sup>nd</sup> Annual Rock‘N Race is taking place Wednesday, May 8th at 6:00 pm at the State House in Downtown Concord. The race is the main fundraising event for Concord Hospital’s Payson Center for Cancer Care, a cause The Merrimack has contributed nearly $450,000 to over the 16-year sponsorship.

“The generosity of our sponsors and community members allows us to continue providing special programs and services at no cost to our patients,” said Veronica Rosa, EdD, Chief Advancement Officer at Concord Hospital Trust. “We’re grateful to have The Merrimack return as presenting sponsor and look forward to another successful race!”

As one of Concord Hospital’s five centers of excellence, Payson Center for Cancer Care offers a comprehensive array of services, including cancer-related specialists, diagnostic technology, radiation, and medical oncology, surgery, rehabilitation, outreach, screening, early detection programs, spiritual care, and financial counseling, among many other resources and amenities.
