Jaime Badillo joins NHMB as Vice President, Information Technology Officer

We are pleased to welcome Jaime Badillo as Vice President, Information Technology Officer. He will be in charge of NHMB security program documentation and procedures, data governance and business continuity planning as well as collaborating with personnel to identify potential technological vulnerabilities to NHMB and its affiliates, NHTrust, Savings Bank of Walpole, Merrimack County Savings Bank (the Merrimack), and MVSB (Meredith Village Savings Bank).

“I look forward to working with Jaime to bring our technology security program to a new level,” said Robert Soloway, EVP Chief Technology & Services Officer. “With an ever-increasing amount of potential financial losses for customers and businesses due to internet crime, having Jaime’s experience in cyber security, risk assessments and reporting on the effectiveness of our security controls will be key to slowing down and eliminating possible threats to the organization and our banking customers.”

Badillo has over eighteen years of information security, cyber security and risk management with financial institutions. He was involved with InfraGard, a nonprofit partnership between the FBI and members of the private sector for the protection of US business information technology. He also was a member of the Gartner CISO (Chief information Security Officers) Circle, a group of technology experts that met in Boston regularly to discuss the state of security.

Badillo spent 29 years in the Army and the National Guard, much of his experience focusing on cyber security. He holds a BA in Business Management. He moved to Pembroke from the Midwest and is enjoying acclimating to the state’s mountains and woodlands.
