MVSB Launches CareWork Loan Program for Childcare Providers

Angela Salb, MVSB VP Commercial Lending Team Leader (left), meets with Ms. Allison, A Place to Grow Site Director, on the organization’s playground.

MVSB is thrilled to introduce the CareWork Loan Program, a unique initiative developed in collaboration with A Place to Grow, a growing NH-based childcare organization. The program is designed to provide financial assistance and resources specifically tailored for licensed childcare providers to allow them to establish and grow sustainable, child-focused centers within their community.

“At MVSB, we’re dedicated to addressing the increasing demand for affordable childcare within our communities, and the CareWork Loan Program is an excellent opportunity for those who are either just entering the field or looking to expand their services,” shared Dan Osetek, MVSB Senior Vice President and Senior Commercial Loan Officer. “We are also delighted to partner with A Place to Grow, who provide invaluable training and resources to help new childcare providers get up and running and continue to thrive.”

“We’re proud to collaborate with MVSB on this much-needed initiative that will foster the growth of childcare providers in New Hampshire,” Jennifer Legere, Founder and Director of A Place to Grow. “Many individuals have a passion for working with children and aspire to open their own childcare centers, but are unfamiliar with licensing requirements or lack the technical and financial resources to get started. That’s where we step in to provide expertise and support.”

Established in 2005 and franchised in 2020, A Place to Grow offers a safe place for kids to be kids, while providing an enriching early learning center that embraces a child’s overall well-being through a holistic curriculum. They offer support to childcare centers of different sizes, providing high quality personalized care for all their children and families. A Place to Grow was chosen as the 2022 NH SBA Woman Owned Business of the Year. Go to aplacetogrow.com to learn more.
