MVSB is pleased to announce that Ian MacDonald, a 2025 graduate of Newfound Regional High School, is the distinguished recipient of this year’s MVSB Culinary Arts Scholarship. Ian, who has demonstrated exceptional talent and dedication in the field of culinary arts, will be furthering his education at the esteemed Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston.
Each year, the MVSB Bank Culinary Arts Center Scholarship is awarded to a deserving graduating senior from the Huot Career and Technical Center Culinary Arts Program who plans to pursue higher education in the culinary arts or a related field. Recipients also embody the values of honesty, leadership and academic excellence.
The MVSB Culinary Arts Center is part of The Huot Career and Technical Center, a regional program for students at Laconia, Gilford, Belmont, Inter-Lakes, Franklin, Newfound and Winnisquam Regional High Schools.
