Seacoast Science Center will host its annual Rescue Run: Race for Marine Mammals on May 2 at Odiorne Point State Park in Rye, with MVSB proudly serving as the presenting sponsor. The Rescue Run is the Center’s largest annual fundraiser, supporting its marine mammal rescue program, and the team’s vital conservation, education, and outreach efforts.
“The Rescue Run has become a favorite community tradition, and it’s always inspiring to see people of all ages come together in our stunning coastal setting,” said Kate Leavitt, Executive Director of Seacoast Science Center. “We invite runners, walkers, and families to join us for a fun and welcoming event that also helps support the work behind our marine mammal rescue efforts.”
“We’re glad to support an event that brings people outdoors and strengthens the community’s connection to Seacoast Science Center,” said David McMahon, MVSB Branch & Business Development Manager in Portsmouth. “The Rescue Run is a great opportunity to celebrate New Hampshire’s beautiful coastline and the Center’s wildlife conservation work, while taking part in a tradition and effort that so many look forward to each year.”
