NHMB Welcomes Robert Soloway as Chief Technology Officer

Robert Soloway, Chief Technology Officer

Robert (“Rob”) Soloway has joined New Hampshire Mutual Bancorp (NHMB) as Senior Vice President, Chief Technology and Services Officer. In this role, Soloway leads and oversees technological strategy and implementation for Meredith Village Savings Bank (MVSB), Merrimack County Savings Bank (the Merrimack), Savings Bank of Walpole (SBW) and MillRiver Wealth Management. He is based in Concord, at NHMB’s operations facility for Concord-based employees on 16 Foundry Street.

“We’re happy to have Rob onboard,” said Gregg Tewksbury, President and CEO of New Hampshire Mutual Bancorp. “Technology is essential to ensuring we meet the security, ease of use, service and product expectations for customers of the community banks we serve. Rob’s broad background in operations and experience in strategic IT leadership will greatly enhance the capabilities of our banks and wealth management firm. He has the foresight to address our future, and is adept at managing current opportunities at the same time. Rob’s already proven to be an excellent member of our leadership team.”

“It’s exciting to be a part of this organization,” said Soloway. “New Hampshire Mutual Bancorp is a shared services organization that provides extensive support to three well-established, 150-year-old banks. This unique model allows for best-in-class products and services to customers as well as unparalleled support to our local community through volunteerism, financial support and expert guidance. I’m incredibly proud to support MVSB, the Merrimack and Savings Bank of Walpole. We offer similar services to MillRiver Wealth Management, which was born out of the financial advisory divisions of the three banks and is quickly growing to be one of the most significant, locally-based trust and wealth management firms in the state.”

Prior to NHMB, Soloway was the Chief Information Officer for Municipal Credit Union in New York. He has also held top technology leadership roles within banking, insurance and shared service environments.

Already familiar with New Hampshire, Soloway began his career in the state as a computer programmer following graduation from what is now Southern New Hampshire University. He holds a degree in Management Information Systems and Finance.
