MVSB (Meredith Village Savings Bank) is proud to sponsor The Music Hall’s 2021-2022 School Days Series Season for $10,500. This sponsorship money will allow The Music Hall to offer complimentary tickets, transportation and lunches to students, making it possible for school children to attend professional matinees. This is the fourth year of MVSB’s sponsorship of The Music Hall and the second season of supporting the School Days Series.
“The continued support of our sponsors like MVSB has a significant impact on our ability to fulfill our mission to serve as an active and vital arts center for the region,” says Sara Turner, Corporate and Foundation Relations Manager for The Music Hall. “We have reopened our doors with a renewed commitment to provide programming for everyone, from music to comedy to literature to scientific discovery. We are welcoming a return to normalcy with a robust roster of Grammy-winning artists, comedic legends, literary giants, thought leaders, and incredible film events.”
“We are excited to support the mission of The Music Hall’s educational series,” said James Carrigan, Assistant Vice President, Portsmouth Branch and Business Development Manager. “This program offers young people exposure to educational experiences and the performing arts at a professional level and we’re honored to help make this series more accessible in any way we can.”
The mission of The Music Hall is to present the very best of diverse performing and related arts. The Music Hall is dedicated to the enrichment of the Seacoast community. It acts as the community’s great room, fostering a love of arts, community and big ideas. For nearly 150 years, The Music Hall has been in the heart of Portsmouth and operates out of two venues—an 1878 Victorian-era Historic Theater and the modern and intimate Loft space. Through innovative community partnerships like this one with MVSB, it subsidizes thousands of tickets each year to make the arts accessible to all.
