Linda Lorden, Gregg Tewksbury Named to NH Business Review’s List of 200 Most Influential Leaders

Linda Lorden and Gregg Tewksbury

Linda Lorden, President of Merrimack County Savings Bank (the Merrimack), and Gregg Tewksbury, President and CEO of New Hampshire Mutual Bancorp, were both acknowledged by New Hampshire Business Review as two of the 200 most influential business leaders across the state. They were honored at the New Hampshire 200 reception in Manchester earlier this month.

The New Hampshire 200 award is an initiative by the editors of the NH Business Review, who choose and profile the most prominent and influential business leaders within New Hampshire.

“I’m humbled to have been included in this year’s NH200 list,” said Linda. “It has been my privilege to represent and work at the Merrimack. I continue to be so proud of our employees and our collective work with customers and the community. Being recognized among our state’s many esteemed business and community leaders is a great honor. I am very thankful, but it’s our employees who deserve the most recognition.”

“I’m also extremely grateful for this recognition, and share in Linda’s sentiments,” added Gregg Tewksbury, who was acknowledged for the second time. “I’m proud to have the opportunity to lead a team of employees that truly embody our companies’ values of accountability, mutuality, excellence, respect, integrity, teamwork and stewardship both at the office and in our communities.”

Linda was named President of the Merrimack in 2018. She currently serves as Secretary for the New Hampshire Bankers Association Board of Directors. She is also a member of the Concord Coalition to End Homelessness Steering Committee, Bow Rotary Club, a volunteer at the Friendly Kitchen, and serves as a Trustee for Concord Hospital and Capital Region Health Care. Earlier this year, the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce named Lorden as Concord’s Citizen of the Year for 2020 and she was also recognized as Community Banker of the Year by the New Hampshire Bankers Association.

Gregg was appointed President and CEO of NH Mutual Bancorp in 2018, the shared services organization supporting Meredith Village Savings Bank, Merrimack County Savings Bank, Savings Bank of Walpole and NHTrust. Before that, he was the President and CEO of Savings Bank of Walpole since 2005. Gregg is the Director of the Community Bankers Association of New Hampshire, a Board of Trustee member of the NH Historical Society, a member of the University System of New Hampshire Board of Trustees, an Investment Committee member of Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health, and a member of the American Bankers Association Communication Council.  He was recently recognized by the NH Hospital Association as the 2021 Trustee of t
