Merrimack County Savings Bank (The Merrimack) celebrates the 20th anniversary of the Payson Center for Cancer Care as presenting sponsor of the Annual Rock ‘N Race. The iconic road race is the main fundraising event for Concord Hospital’s Payson Center for Cancer Care, a cause to which The Merrimack has contributed more than $400,000 over the years.

“Rock ‘N Race is much more than just a race for us, it has become a Merrimack tradition that brings us together,” said Linda Lorden, President of The Merrimack. “We’re grateful for our continued partnership with Concord Hospital Trust and the opportunity to show our support for everyone touched by cancer.”

The 21st Annual Rock ‘N Race returns to the State House in Downtown Concord on Thursday, May 18th at 6:00 PM. All proceeds support the HOPE Resource Center, which provides critical services and financial assistance for cancer patients, survivors and family members.

“It’s been a pleasure working with The Merrimack, who remains dedicated to our cause year after year,” said Pamela Puleo, Chief Advancement Officer at Concord Hospital Trust. “Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, like The Merrimack, and the community, we are able to continue providing life-enhancing programs and services to patients, at no cost.”

As one of Concord Hospital’s five centers of excellence, Payson Center for Cancer Care offers a comprehensive array of services, including cancer-related specialists, diagnostic technology, radiation, and medical oncology, surgery, rehabilitation, outreach, screening, early detection programs, spiritual care, and financial counseling, among many other resources and amenities.
