New Hampshire Mutual Bancorp (NHMB) is pleased to announce its new Corporators who were recently confirmed by vote at the NHMB Annual Meeting: Patrick Cate of Campton, Julianna Dodson of Westmoreland, Andrew Hartmann from Exeter, Tae Kwon of Keene, Mark Rebillard of Keene and Gail Somers from Keene.
Corporators have many important roles that help ensure the success of New Hampshire Mutual Bancorp and its sister companies – Meredith Village Savings Bank, Merrimack County Savings Bank, NHTrust and Savings Bank of Walpole. A Corporators’ most important responsibility is the election of highly qualified people to act as members of NHMB’s Board of Trustees and act on any bylaw changes that come before them. In addition Corporators can act in part as community representatives to ensure that the organization is on track in regards to serving community needs and providing first-hand impressions of the quality of services.
Patrick Cate is the President of Lakes Region Community College (LRCC) in Laconia, serving as interim President since 2022. Joining LRCC in 2018, he previously held roles as Associate Vice President and Vice President of Academic and Student Affairs. Cate has over 20 years of higher education experience, including positions at Walnut Hill College, Rivier University, and 17 years at Plymouth State University, where he advanced to Dean of Student Success. He holds degrees from Keene State College and Plymouth State University, with extensive experience in academic and career counseling.
Julianna Dodson is the Executive Director of the Hannah Grimes Center for Entrepreneurship. Originally from South Carolina, she has lived in nearly half of the US states and moved to NH in 2017, settling in Westmoreland. She began her career teaching English overseas, then worked in finance while running a small business for 10 years. Julianna joined the center in Keene, NH, in 2021 as the director of Radically Rural. By 2022, she was Deputy Executive Director and became Executive Director in 2024, managing human resources, finance, operations, and programming. She also leads an economic development committee for a Brownfields project and volunteers with organizations like Project Home and Out in the Open. For fun, she enjoys dancing, reading to her kids, thrifting, surfing, and exploring the humanities.
Andrew Hartman (Andy) is a semi-retired business professional from Rockingham County and lives in Exeter, NH. He supports local businesses and is loyal to MVSB. In 1989, he founded Hartmann Oil and Propane, serving NH, ME, and MA until its sale in August 2023. Currently, he’s divesting a group of radio stations, invests in real estate, and has started a number of entrepreneurial ventures. Andy has been active in NH seacoast philanthropy and civic efforts for the last four decades.
Dr. Tae Kwon, DDS, MMSc, earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Western Ontario and his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Toronto. He specialized in periodontology and completed his Master of Medical Sciences at Harvard, receiving the Hanley D. Epstein Award for clinical and academic excellence.
He lectures part-time at Harvard and has spoken at dental schools like Tufts School of Dental Medicine, University of Michigan School of Dentistry, and PENN Dental Medicine. Dr. Kwon lives in Keene, New Hampshire, with his wife, Dr. Jihae Yang, who runs Our Town Dental in Peterborough. They have two children, Hailey and Evan, and enjoy traveling, dining, hiking, and skiing. A Toronto Blue Jays fan, Dr. Kwon rarely misses a game and values contributing to his community’s health.
Mark Rebillard owns Deep Roots Massage & Bodywork in Keene, NH, expanding it from 4 to 28 employees, including 23 massage therapists. He has a BA from the University of Lowell and a Massage Therapy certification from New Hampshire Community Technical College.
Mark founded Deep Roots Offshoots, a nonprofit providing massage therapy to underserved populations. He also teaches at River Valley Community College’s Massage Therapy Program. As a community leader, he is the Board Chair of the Keene Downtown Group and Committee Chair for the Keene Ice & Snow Festival.
In his free time, Mark enjoys snowboarding, hiking, traveling, camping, and spending time with his family. His commitment to wellness and community influences both his work and personal life.
Gail Somers has lived in Keene, NH, since 2013 and has over 15 years in finance, including roles as Director of Finance and Accounting Controller. She has held leadership positions at C&S Food Wholesalers and ECDC Refugee Resettlement Vermont and led DEI initiatives at Brattleboro Memorial Hospital and Keene YMCA.
Gail earned an MBA from Saint Joseph’s University and bachelor’s degrees in applied science and finance from Villanova University. She is completing her executive doctoral studies at Pace University. A social justice advocate, Gail integrates a DEI focus into her work. She runs a successful accounting consultancy, co-owned Yahso Jamaican Grille, and founded the Keene Multicultural Center. Gail is also a mother of two who enjoys family time, travel, and reading.
