Lauren Young, MVSB Vice President, Residential Mortgage Sales NMLS# 1890212, has graduated from the 2025–2026 New Hampshire Housing Homeownership Fellows program.
Chosen as part of a select cohort of distinguished housing professionals from across New Hampshire, Lauren participated in an immersive fellowship designed to advance participants’ understanding of the mortgage finance system and the complex factors shaping housing access across the state and beyond. Fellows engaged in a series of workshops focused on housing policy, economic development and state government, while also exploring the programs and resources available through New Hampshire Housing to support residents.
“Lauren’s selection for this prestigious reflects both her leadership in the housing community as well as her commitment to understanding the broader forces shaping homeownership in New Hampshire,” said Jaime Frederes, Senior Vice President, Residential Mortgage Lending. “The program offered valuable insight into housing policy, access and affordability, and Lauren will bring that perspective forward as she continues helping our mortgage team support local homebuyers and strengthen the communities we serve.”
A highlight of the program included a visit to Washington, D.C., where Fellows met with members of New Hampshire’s Congressional delegation and representatives from national housing organizations. Throughout the program, participants also connected with local and state officials to gain a broader perspective on how housing policy, market conditions, and community needs intersect.
Lauren joined MVSB earlier this year and leads the Bank’s Mortgage Lending team. She is also actively involved in the local housing community, including through her work with the Lakes Region Board of Realtors, where she was named 2025 Affiliate of the Year.
