
Savanna Dutile
MVSB is pleased to announce that Savanna Dutile, a 2026 graduate of Laconia High School and the Huot Career and Technical Center (the Huot Center) Culinary Arts Program, is the distinguished recipient of this year’s MVSB Culinary Arts Scholarship. Savanna, who has demonstrated academic excellence, leadership and a strong commitment to serving her school community, will be furthering her education at Merrimack College.
Savanna excelled at the Culinary Arts Center, where she earned respect for her exceptional leadership, positive attitude and willingness to step up and support others whenever needed. She is a member of the National Honor Society and the National Technical Honor Society, reflecting her strong academic achievement and commitment to excellence. She also demonstrated meaningful leadership beyond the classroom by establishing a school food pantry, which she helped manage and support through fundraising efforts.
Each year, the MVSB Culinary Arts Center Scholarship is awarded to a deserving graduate from the Huot Center Culinary Arts Program who plans to pursue higher education in the culinary arts or a related field. Recipients also embody the values of honesty, leadership and academic excellence.
The MVSB Culinary Arts Center is part of the Huot Center, a regional program for students at Laconia, Gilford, Belmont, Inter-Lakes, Franklin, Newfound and Winnisquam Regional High Schools. The two-part culinary arts program provides students with the opportunity to begin to develop skills that are essential to employment in all facets of the food service trade.
