MVSB is pleased to announce that Bonnie Leighton, Mortgage Loan Officer, NMLS# 37156 is now serving customers from the Bank’s Rochester Office after transferring from MVSB’s Portsmouth Office.
The move is a natural fit for Leighton, who lives in Dover and has deep personal and professional connections throughout Strafford County and the greater Seacoast region. In her new Rochester location, she is well positioned to support local individuals and families as they navigate every stage of homeownership, from buying a first home to building, refinancing or exploring financing options.

Leighton joined MVSB in 2021, bringing extensive experience in underwriting, processing, originating and closing mortgage loans. Her comprehensive industry knowledge allows her to guide customers confidently from application to closing while helping them understand the lending options available to them.
Whether customers are purchasing their first home, building their dream home, refinancing or simply considering their next steps, Leighton provides access to a wide range of loan programs.
In addition to her work with MVSB, Leighton is active in the community. She has served as Treasurer and President of Dover Little Green Cheerleading and currently serves as Director of Coaching for the organization. She also coaches the Dover High School JV Cheer team and is passionate about financial education, teaching homebuyer education and construction lending classes.
