Jay Stewart appointed to The Merrimack County Savings Bank Board of Directors

Merrimack County Savings Bank (The Merrimack) has appointed Jay Stewart to their Board of Directors after serving as a corporator for the past 18 years.

“Jay is a familiar face in the Greater Concord area and we’re thrilled he’s joined the board,” said Linda Lorden, President of The Merrimack. “His strong ties to the Concord community, as well as Southern New Hampshire, ensures The Merrimack is upholding the values the bank was built on.”

Stewart served as President of Capital Offset in Downtown Concord until 2013 when the company merged with Puritan Press of Hollis. Now known as Puritan Capital, Stewart is Vice President and Co-Owner of the firm, which is one of the nation’s leading fine art and photography printers.

“It’s an honor to have been elected to the board and a great responsibility,” said Stewart. “This is an opportunity for me to give back to the community where I was born and raised and I look forward to doing my best to ensure the community’s best interests are always at heart.”

Stewart has served on numerous civil and business boards and committees over the years, most recently, on the Board of Advisors at the University of New Hampshire Museum of Art. He and his wife, Mela, enjoying traveling around the Granite State and currently reside in Franconia.
